SHARCS Club Meeting 4/25/10

Updates:
1. RC Car track is still under review by the Harris County Parks Dept.
2. The 2010 Club Charter and insurance have been renewed.
NEW MOTIONS: None
SAFETY OFFICER'S REPORT: Operation of RC cars/trucks requires an AMA membership at this field. RC cars/trucks must be operated in the area south of the heli field & west of the alternate heli area. We will be installing signs indicating rules for operating RC cars & trucks at our field.
TREASURER'S REPORT: We have $1241.31 in our bank account. Expenses for April are pending since we are waiting on receipts for the control board and for the information board materials.
SECRETARIES REPORT: None
PRESIDENT'S REPORT: Current club membership is at 56% of what we had at the end of last year. Considering our current economic status we are doing pretty well. We need all members to continue the recruitment of new members. Keep up the good work. Blank membership applications can be downloaded from our web site. We also have some posted on the information board.
