SHARCS Club Meeting 1/31/10

Updates: A new frequency control board has been completed. We will be issuing I.D. badges to current 2010 club members. We have purchased a plastic lettering machine to make our own signage as needed. The Parks Dept has completed the information board repair. Let's keep it neat and clutter free.

SAFETY OFFICER'S REPORT: No incidents in last 4 weeks.
TREASURER'S REPORT: We have $1,320.40 in our bank account.
SECRETARIES REPORT: None
PRESIDENT'S REPORT: We will be redesigning the frequency board ASAP. We will be using the pin method for frequency control and proof of AMA membership. You will be required to pull a pin/card and insert your AMA card or SHARCS Club ID into the appropriate slot. You will then attach the removed pin/card to your transmitter or yourself. This rule will apply to any 72 MHz or 2.4 GHz transmitter used at this field. There are no exceptions to this rule. As SHARCS club members we are all entrusted to insure that all pilots adhere to our airfield rules. If an infraction is observed we are to point out the infraction, immediate compliance is required by the offending pilot. DO NOT ENGAGE IN AN ARGUMENT with the offender. Call the Parks Dept and/or the Sheriff's Dept. The offending pilot will then be informed to comply with the rules or will be removed from the airfield.
