In a traditional remote control club scenario, the club rules, layout and accommodations are specifically designed for rc airplane (fixed winged flight) while rc helicopter (rotary winged flight), is merely tolerated on a very limited basis.  Here at SHARCS, we have grown to establish a permanent home for both, ROTARY and FIXED winged flyers. The club rules, layout and accommodations at SHARCS are specifically designed for concurrent rotary and fixed winged flight, thereby enhancing the RC experience for all who visit SHARCS, THE HOME OF THE RC ENTHUIAST. Finally, the purpose of SHARCS AMA charted club # 3271 is to create and maintain for all time, a home field for all RC pilots, to enjoy the sport of RC flight in harmony.
